If patron loses a library item like a library book - can they give us a new copy and not pay the fine?

Answer

This will be the campus librarian's call. If the patron brings in a copy of the lost book in good, useable condition, the librarian can send it to Rob for cataloging if they decide it is an acceptable replacement. If this is the case, the patron will not have to pay the replacement fee.
