What happens after I've placed a hold? How will I be notified when it's available for me to check out?

Once you've placed your hold, library staff will be notified to pull the item requested and place it on our hold shelf, or send the book in transit to one of the other pick-up locations. Once the book has arrived at the library you've selected for pick up, you will be sent an email to your Gateway Email account letting you know that it's ready for you to check out.
