I want to see if the library has a book or item that I can borrow. How can I find out?

Visit the library homepage gtc.edu/library. At the bottom of the screen there is a search box called "Find what you need". If you know the exact title of the item you're looking for, you can type it right in the search box. Your search will open in a new window in our Encore catalog. If we have the exact title you were looking for, it should show up at the top of the results screen. If the library does not find the exact title, it may bring up a list of titles that the libraries own with the same keywords that you entered in your search.
